Being Updated
Sand Creek Elementary School is planning to build a playground that is accessible to everyone, including students with mobility issues, as part of a community-driven project. This way, all students can play together without any barriers. The school wants to be the first in Coon Rapids to have equipment that is accessible to everyone, like rubberized surfaces, sensory play areas, and paths that everyone can use. The school is raising money, and the leaders stress how important it is to make a space where every student feels welcome and involved. This project shows how much the school cares about including everyone and keeping students healthy.
