Coon Rapids' Mississippi Elementary School recently held a Mental Health Education Day to focus on the health of its students. There were mindfulness sessions, activities to help kids become more aware of their emotions, and a visit from the school mascot. All of these things helped kids develop good mental health habits. Parents and teachers praised the school for its dedication to helping students grow emotionally and become more resilient.
