High School North is a public high school in Macomb, Michigan. It is one of five high schools in the L'Anse Creuse Public Schools district and serves students in grades 9 through 12. There are about 1,500 students at the school, and there is one teacher for every 21 students. This creates a structured and academically focused place to learn. High School North has a lot of different programs to keep students interested. For example, 41% of students take Advanced Placement® classes and tests, and there are also college-preparatory classes, career-focused pathways, and extracurricular activities. The students are all different. About 34% say they are economically disadvantaged, and 24% are minorities. For the school year 2025–2026, 34% of students are good at math and 54% are good at reading. This tells you how well they do in all of their important classes. To get ready for college, students also take the SAT and ACT.
