As part of the Lansing School District, Cavanaugh is designed for academic growth in a safe and nurturing environment. While state-level testing scores show challenges for the school, the most recent data system from their district shows promising growth across the district, with incoming facilitative reading, Cavanaugh has had the promise of growth in early reading achievement for students to respond positively to their early years of education. Cavanaugh serves students from a diverse population, and with their inclusive offerings for students, parent engagement initiatives for families, and support from community-based organizations, students will feel supported.
