About Capital Area K-12 Online

Capital Area K-12 Online is part of the Lansing School District, located in Michigan. It provides students throughout Mid-Michigan with an anonymous online learning option that is flexible and motivating. The program was designed with K-12 learners in mind and gives students access to live classes run by a teacher, on-demand lessons, and independent study options so they can learn at their own pace and still access district resources, extra-curricular activities, and sports options. Parents serve as learning coaches, while the support of the teacher and the parent portal guide learning coaches through the process. The district offers strong rankings, scholarships, and ultimately successful students, showing the commitment Lansing has in providing one of the best elementary education programs in Michigan.
