Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Michigan runs a pilot program called "Lunch with Littles" that pairs younger students at Prairie Ridge with adult mentors during lunch.
A community newsletter featured the school and a drawing of the weather by a fifth-grade student, which indicated that students were involved and doing creative things.
