Huron Elementary School is one of the strongest Elementary Schools in the State of Michigan, enrolling almost five hundred students in grades PK–5. Its measures of performance are well above average, with nearly 44% proficient in math and 48% in reading. Additionally, Huron has a very good student to teacher ratio of 18:1, allowing for more individualized instruction than most schools in the district. Huron is a Magnet School emphasizing the whole child approach to education through academics, arts, and community.
