The Michigan Department of Corrections runs the Correctional Services High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as part of its efforts to educate people who are in prison. The school has changed a lot, including working with nearby colleges to offer college courses and degree programs to students. The Michigan Department of Corrections has also put in place new education programs to help people in the correctional system improve their skills and job prospects. The department has also added more post-secondary education programs, and more than 1,300 students are now taking college-level courses.
