About Angell School

Angell School has been ranked one of the very best Elementary Schools in Michigan, known for outstanding academic achievement and an intimate learning experience. With 85–89% of students rated proficient or better in math, and 80–84% of students rated proficient or better in reading, Angell consistently far exceeds the state average and is ranked in the top 1% of Michigan Elementary Schools. Angell's solid programs deserve the recognition. As of June, 2022, Angell School serves around 290 students in grades K–5 with a student to teacher ratio of 14:1, giving students personalized attention as needed. Angell School is where students learn and grow into responsible and caring citizens. Moreover, there is the Enrichment Program which is PTO sponsored and provides hands-on experiences for students in the area of art, science, and culture.
