About York High School

York High School is known as one of the best schools in the York Public Schools district. It is the only public high school in the town for grades 9 through 12. Recently, York High School honored its Model United Nations team for winning several individual and group awards at a big regional conference. The school's "Community Pathways" program is also working well. It lets seniors do specialized internships and independent research projects with local coastal groups. The varsity basketball and indoor track teams also made it to the state to urnament brackets, which is a big deal for the athletic department this winter.
