Wells High School recently honored its varsity boys' basketball team for beating a rival team from the region in early February 2026. The score was 47 to 40. The school is still working on its promise to offer specialized learning through its new "Maine Advanced Building," which has technology-rich collaborative spaces and a curriculum based on proficiency. Students are also learning about the his to ry of their own community through a new research project that looks in to the cultural heritage and his to rical s to ries of the Wells and Ogunquit areas.
