Being Updated
Laytonsville Elementary School usually sends out news about everyday business and events in the community. Recent public information includes the Back to School Parent Newsletter, announcements for events that will help families get involved in the first quarter, and the release of the School Improvement Plan SMARTIE Goals for this school year. Other updates are about important details, like the Chromebook Agreement and the Parent Handbook for the year. The school is working hard to reach its improvement goals with the help of dedicated staff and strong relationships with parents.
Q1: What are the main academic programs that are not part of the core curriculum?

Q2: Which middle school do students from Laytonsville Elementary go to?
Ans: Most students go to either Gaithersburg Middle School or John T. Baker Middle School because the school is part of the high school clusters in Damascus and Gaithersburg.
