Ridgewood Middle School was officially Voted Best Middle School by its community in October 2025. Principal Felicia O'Neal was surprised in December 2025 by being named the Middle School Principal of the Year for Caddo Parish Public Schools for 2025–2026. The school also saw an excellent attendance rate of 90.6% during a recent pilot program.
