Being Updated
Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, Capitol Middle Magnet School and Capitol High School will join forces to create a single campus for grades 6–12. The goal is to improve academic programming and resources. This strategic move is part of the district's plan to make sure that students have a smooth educational experience. The people at the school are excited about the new opportunities that will come from this change. Principal Dr. Cleotha Johnigan Jr. said he was sure that the merger would be good for students.
