Tully Elementary School held the first of several public listening sessions for Norton Children's Hospital in October 2025. The hospital is planning to build a large new pediatric care campus in east Louisville. The campus development is still years away, but the first community input meeting took place at the school. Local residents, hospital representatives, and school staff all came together to talk about design, access, and traffic issues. The meeting being held at the school shows how important Tully Elementary is to the community and how easy it is to plan things for the whole neighborhood there. School officials and parents who were there said they hoped the new campus would bring more services and resources to the area. The hospital said it would think about the needs of the school zone, such as safety, pedestrian access, and possible partnerships. This development could be good for the community around the school because it could bring in more resources, more people getting involved, and better infrastructure. The campus isn't going to happen right away, but Tully Elementary will indirectly benefit from being a host and stakeholder in the project.
