As per latest news, the 2025–26 school year began, Lowe Elementary welcomed its students and staff with new energy, enthusiasm and a shared goal of learning and building community. During the first few days, school leaders, teachers, and families got together to set the tone for "inclusion, goal-oriented learning, and kindness." This reinforced the school's mission of helping students thrive in a positive environment. Staff said that attendance was high, transitions into classrooms went smoothly, and the overall mood was one of hope and readiness for growth. The school is also adding more "special area" classes, such as art, music, Spanish, physical education, and library media, to make sure that students in kindergarten through fifth grade have access to a wide range of subjects beyond the core academics.
