Being Updated
From a recent news from the school came that from many years, a full-time kindergarten teacher at Garrett Morgan Elementary had a serious kidney failure problem. She recently reached a big personal goal: she found a living kidney donor and is on track for a successful transplant. Everyone at the school is happy about this news. Students, teachers, and parents have all shown their support and relief. The kidney transplant will not only help the teacher get her health back, but it will also help her go back to school with more energy and focus. School leaders said this story was a great example of how you can always keep going and help other people in your community. The event made staff and families very thankful, which has helped the school keep its friendly, welcoming culture. Next year, the school is looking forward to having the teacher back at full strength and with all of her experience. Everyone at the school should feel hopeful and excited right now.
