Being Updated
The school recently said goodbye to a beloved janitor who had worked there for 18 years and then retired. When Jimmy Eldridge left, it was a memorable event for both students and staff. He rode into the parking lot on the back of a convertible, waving to the lined-up students and faculty who gave him a warm send-off. Students called him "the best janitor in the whole world," and he fondly remembered all the years he spent working with the school community. The story shows how close-knit and connected the school is. The event doesn't have anything to do with how well the students do in school, but it shows the good atmosphere and strong relationships that help shape the school's culture. In short, the event shows the caring side of the school's daily life. This is in addition to academic data and resources and shows the kind of environment that students learn in.
