New Highland Elementary in Elizabethtown is getting ready for an exciting growth period as the Daviess County Public Schools Board approved the first steps to a new school building which may be constructed behind Daviess County Middle School.
Q1: What do I need to do to sign my child up for New Highland Elementary?
Ans:You need a birth certificate, proof of residence, and immunization records to register. You can send these in online or in person.
Q2: Does New Highland Elementary have programs for kids after school?
Ans:Yes, the school has fun after-school activities that focus on academics, sports, and the arts.
Q3: What is the school like for learning at New Highland Elementary?
Ans: The school has bright classrooms, a library, and outdoor play areas where students can work together and be creative.
Q4: What subjects are most important in the curriculum?
Ans:The curriculum covers math, reading, science, and writing, and it uses technology and critical thinking in all of the lessons.
