The latest news of Taylor Mill Elementary school , The USDA recently gave Taylor Mill Elementary School a grant for its "Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program." The prize will let students eat a variety of fruit and vegetable snacks during the next school term. The school's Parent-Teacher Association and community volunteers are helping with the project. They want to teach kids about nutrition and science and wellness activities at the same time. Teachers said that students are excited to help set up snack stations and link the program to what they are learning in class about plants and health.
