Cumberland Trace Elementary School is a public school in Bowling Green, Kentucky, that serves grades PK through 6 as part of the Warren County Public Schools district. The school has about 600 to 620 students and says that there is one teacher for every 16 to 17 students. It has a number of academic programs, such as a Gifted & Talented track, a "1:1 connected campus" technology program, a PBIS Gold behavior-support framework, and the chance to take part in the "Leader In Me" leadership model. The student body is very diverse: about 62% are White, 17% are Hispanic, 9% are Asian, 5% are African American, and the rest are from two or more races or other groups. About half of the students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. The school says that about 33% of its students are "Proficient" in reading and 40% in math, and that 23% of students in each subject are at the "Distinguished" level. The average amount spent on each student is about $15,600, which is pretty high for the district. The Bowling Green neighborhood around the school is known for steady residential growth, with median home values in the $240,000 range. The school also has a good reputation for having a diverse and welcoming student body. In short, Cumberland Trace Elementary has a lot of potential because it has a lot of different types of students and dedicated programs. It should keep working on improving students' skills in core subjects.

We are so excited to announce the name of our new playground! Following a school-wide and Robinson community vote we narrowed a large list of names down to four. Since our students will be using the playground on a daily basis, we gave them the final vote! 476.....

Being Updated
Cumberland Trace Elementary recently took part in a city-wide arts project that asked fourth-grade students to draw pictures of what they thought the new downtown riverfront park should look like. Their art will be put together in a book that goes along with the city's master plan. The school's new campus has also got the praise for its creative design, which includes a 50 kW solar energy system, extended learning zones, a STEM lab, a media hub, maker spaces, and areas for collaborative learning that support hands-on learning. The "Leader in Me" program also helped Cumberland Trace keep its Lighthouse status, which shows that the school is still focused on empowering and leading students. The academic team recently won first place in a district-level competition. The 4th and 5th grade Beta Club also did very well in junior color photography and received top national recognition in Living Literature. These accomplishments and modern facilities show that the school is dedicated to academics, creativity, leadership, and community involvement. This makes Cumberland Trace Elementary a great place for students to continue growing in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
