Teachers and staff at Briarwood Elementary welcomed students back, with a special focus on helping kindergarteners get used to the new routines and routines of school life. The staff stressed the importance of giving all students, especially new ones, a calm and supportive start to boost their confidence and sense of belonging. People who saw the school entrance said it was well-staffed and organized to help ease first-day nerves.
