Being Updated
Wichita Alternative High, which is now part of the Gateway Program, has started a new Blended Learning program that combines digital lessons with small-group instruction from teachers to help students do their best. The school just finished a project to update its classrooms with flexible furniture and technology that works together to support project-based learning. Students are also taking part in a new Work-Based Learning program that lets them earn school credit by doing internships at local businesses and non-profits.
