Wichita Southeast High School is currently expanding its Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum, giving students more advanced, hands-on experience in aerospace engineering and computer science. The girls' flag football team on campus just started its first season, and the Kansas City Chiefs and the local community supported them. This was a big deal for athletics. Also, the school's AVID program is still the best in the district at getting students ready for college. Recently, it held a huge scholarship fair that helped seniors find millions of dollars in potential funding.
