Seltzer Elementary School holds its annual “Boogie on the Blacktop” event each September. Families come together for an evening of fun, music, and dancing under the open sky.

Ans. Seltzer stresses respect, responsibility, and safety, and staff members always model and reinforce these standards in classrooms and other areas.
Q2. How does Seltzer help make sure that students get to and from school safely?
Ans. The school makes sure that transitions are calm and safe by having a structured traffic flow, supervised entry points, and clear instructions for families.
Q3. How does Seltzer keep families up to date?
Ans. Parents get news about events and important reminders through newsletters, announcements on the website, and communication with teachers.
Q4. What chances are there for parents to get involved at Seltzer?
Ans. Families can help out in the classroom, join PTO activities, and support the needs of the classroom. Such involvement strengthens the partnership between home and school.
Q5: How does Seltzer help students stay healthy?
Ans. The school teaches SEL, helps students learn how to solve problems, and encourages them to talk to trusted adults when they have emotional or social problems.
