Blue Valley West High School is a top public high school in Overland Park that offers a full education to students in grades 9 through 12. Blue Valley West High School is currently improving its curriculum through the Center for Advanced Professional Studies, which lets students work with professionals in fields like medicine and bioscience in real-world situations. The school recently celebrated a big win when several students were named National Merit Semifinalists. This shows how dedicated they are to doing well in school. The performing arts department is also doing well. The Jaguar Marching Band recently got top marks at regional festivals for their technical skill.
