The Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe is making a new Strategic Plan for the years 2025 to 2028. The goal is to make bilingual education better and help all students do better through a community-wide effort. The CEASD committee just finished a full review of the school's accreditation. They praised the school for its commitment to making sure that everyone has access to high-quality education and outreach. Also, students are participating in new programs like the Youth De'VIA competition, which lets them show off their artistic skills and cultural identity through special visual arts projects.
