Frances Willard Elementary School in Kansas City is starting the new school year with a lot of excitement and boundation. The school has added a new dual-language program, which help kids learn in both English and Spanish. Families have really liked the program because they think it's a great way for kids to get better at speaking and writing and feel more confident in their learning.
Teachers and staff have come up with fun ways to get people in the community involved and make them feel like they belong at school. The classroom has hands-on projects, art displays, and activities that get kids working together, being curious, and loving to learn.
