Ranked 54 of 134 in Indiana
Top schools in Fort WayneHaverhill Elementary School is a public K–5 school in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is part of the Southwest Allen County Schools district. The school has about 550 to 600 students and a student-to-teacher ratio of about 16:1, which helps with focused instruction in the elementary grades. Haverhill Elementary School stresses having a strong base in reading, writing, math, and learning with technology. Students also take part in activities like art, music, physical education, and STEM that help them grow academically and socially in a well-rounded way.
About 20 to 25 percent of the students identify as part of a minority group, so the student body is not very diverse. The district spends about the same amount per student as the average in Indiana. This money goes toward classroom instruction, intervention services, and extracurricular activities. The school is in a stable suburban area where home values don't change much. This shows that the area is family-friendly and that people in the area care about education.
