Aboite Elementary School is a public K–5 school in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that serves families in the southwest part of the city. The school has about 650 to 700 students and a student–teacher ratio of about 17:1, which helps keep the focus on learning in the elementary grades. Aboite Elementary School focuses on building strong skills in reading, writing, math, and technology-based learning. It also offers enrichment activities that help students grow academically and socially at the right age. There are a lot of different types of students at the school. About 30 to 35 percent of them say they are part of a minority group.
U.S. News says that state assessment results show that about 76% of students are good at math and 48% are good at English Language Arts. The district spends about the same amount per student as the average in Indiana. This money goes toward classroom instruction, academic programs, and student services. The school is in a suburban part of southwest Fort Wayne where home values have been going up steadily.
In general, Aboite Elementary School has good math scores, a welcoming learning environment, and is still working to improve literacy and student progress.

The latest news of Aboite Elementary School finished its annual function "Winter Learning Showcase," which families from all over the community came and enjoy this event. This showcase, which took place in late February, explained off classroom projects in literacy, math, science, and early technology skills almost all subjects. Students performed group projects, reading portfolios, and hands-on STEM activities, which gave families a better idea of what their kids have been learning all year and how they will improved there ability. Teachers said that students were very excited, especially at the interactive stations where kids showed off their coding skills, simple engineering tasks, and creative writing.
The school's enrichment team also put on a small art show with work from students in all grades. Families lalso being able to see how their kids were doing in school in a calm, friendly setting. Staff members said that the large turnout shows that the school and the community are still working together.
Aboite Elementary plans to keep having events in some intervals like these that focus on academics because they encourage participation and well-rounded learning.
