College Wood Elementary School in Carmel, Indiana, earned the Second Highest National Team Honor at the 2025 National Math Pentathlon Tournament.The 59-student Math Pentathlon team excelled with strong support from PTO, volunteer coaches Julia Stanco, Debbie Jernigan, and Tara Kramarz, and community members.Achievements include 9 Hall of Fame awards, multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, plus honorable mentions.The school ranks high in math and reading, qualifying for U.S. News & World Report’s Best Elementary Schools badge.
