University Elementary School is a public elementary school in Bloomington, Indiana, and is part of the Monroe County Community School Corporation. It has about 550 students and serves kids from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. The student–teacher ratio is approximately 14 to 1, allowing for focused classroom instruction.
There are a lot of different races and cultures among the students. About 60% are White, 17% are Asian, 11% are African American, 7% are Hispanic, and 7% are multiracial. About 35% to 40% of them can get free or low-cost lunch. Academic data show that 65–70% of students in Indiana meet or exceed state standards in math and about 72% meet or exceed state standards in English Language Arts.
The average amount spent on each student is about $13,700, which shows that the school gets good funding from both the state and the local level.

Ans. University Elementary has programs like a robotics club, a chess club, a choir, an art club, and groups that teach kids about the environment. It also has enrichment opportunities in STEM and world languages.

Ans.Yes, the school has programs for special education, speech and language therapy, and individualised support plans to help students with different learning needs.

Ans.The Monroe County Community School Corporation calendar, which includes regular holidays and teacher workdays, is what the school usually follows. It runs from about 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.

Ans. The school has a Parent Teacher Organisation (PTO) that meets regularly, volunteer opportunities, and events that bring families and the community together. These things help families get involved and help students do well in school.
