The Lake County Regional Office of Education-administered ROE Alternative Prog of Lake Co received a highly competitive $9.9 million Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant in January 2025 to support the ISF-SHINE 2025-2029 Project aimed at improving student well-being, behavior, and academic achievement in elementary schools. The program implements the Interconnected Systems Framework, combining Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for schools across the county.
