Memorial Elementary School students have recently shown excellent progress in application of mathematics through targeted math laboratory blocks. This spring the school community hosted a successful parent education forum on managing media balance and digital wellness at home. Currently, faculty are working on social-emotional learning goals using updated resource materials.
Q1. What is the correct safety code to choose gym shoes at Memorial Elem School?
Ans. All students must wear closed-toe athletic shoes for safety during all physical education movement and sports blocks.
Q2. Is Memorial Elem School doing what it can for diverse learners?
Ans. Certified specialists provide one on one, full push in/pull out language acquisition instruction based on the individual student's ability.
Q3. What is the Memorial Elem School procedure for students with severe peanut/tree nut allergies in the general lunch room areas?
Ans. The cafeteria has clearly marked nut-aware seating areas that are thoroughly cleaned after every lunch.
Q4. Can parents run for election to Instructional Decision Making Committees at Memorial Elem School?
Ans. School Improvement Team Families can be part of the School Improvement Team and work with educators on how the school is run.
Q5. Does Memorial Elem School have any partnerships with local food distribution programs to support registered neighborhood families?
Ans. The campus offers a weekend private backpack program to give added support to eligible families for healthy meals.
