Springfield Southeast High School opened its football season at the newly remodeled Spartan Field on August 30, 2025, as the Spartans took on East Peoria in front of an energized crowd. The school will host SAT and ACT preparation through its College and Career Center, and students participated in the P4 White Coat Ceremony with Lanphier and Springfield High freshmen taking first steps toward medical careers. Southeast’s basketball team faced Lanphier twice in the 2025-2026 season, and the school’s advanced academic programs include AP, dual credit, and IB options that build college-level skills.
