Career Center of Southern IL at 6137 Beck Rd continues to provide Career and Technical Education for 11th and 12th graders from Red Bud and area districts, with two-hour programs in auto body, auto mechanics, child care, law enforcement, health occupations, and welding. The campus operates from eight instructional buildings on the former Nike Missile Base SL-40, offering students access to industry-standard labs and a separate cafeteria. CCSI partners with Southwestern Illinois College’s Red Bud campus, where a new 7,800-square-foot CTE facility broke ground June 6, 2025 and will open Fall 2026 to expand Allied Health, welding, plumbing, and construction management training.

Ans. Yes, Advanced classes push students and help them do better in school.

Ans. Yes, students can learn how to be leaders by joining student groups, working on group projects, and mentoring other students.
Q3. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, Career Center of Southern IL lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q4. Does Career Center of Southern IL offer individualized learning assistance?
Ans. Yes, Career Center of Southern IL gives students advice and help to help them reach their academic goals.
Q5. Are students allowed to join clubs and activities outside of school?
Ans. Yes, clubs, sports, and student groups help people learn how to be social and lead.
