Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center 9-12 school has developed a partnership with Limestone Community High School District 310 to provide individualized instruction and credit recovery for youth who are detained. Students attend SAT and ACT prep, career exploration and life-skills classes at the Airport Road campus during their placements to help them stay on track for graduation. Teachers offer individual and small group support in core subjects and collaborate with probation and social services for re-entry planning. The program stresses structured learning, restorative practices and educational continuity so students can return to their home schools with earned credits.
