ADA-Compliant Playground Initiative Norwood Primary is raising funds to replace its existing play area with a new ADA-inclusive playground, featuring adaptive swings, ramps, slides, and sensory-friendly zones to promote equitable recess access. 2023–24 ELA Performance Report In the 2023–24 school year, 90.5% of Norwood Primary students did not meet proficiency in the ELA section of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), highlighting the need for continued instructional support. The district-wide ELA non-proficiency rate was 90.5% compared to 49.7% at the upper school.
