Being Updated
The Peoria Regional Office of Education’s Knoxville Safe School Program expanded its behavior intervention and life skills curriculum to assist students transitioning back into their home districts. The program offers an Alternative Education Plan for each scholar that emphasizes regular attendance, completion of coursework and work-based learning experiences that meet Illinois Regional Safe School guidelines. SAT and ACT prep, community service projects and counseling services aimed at building academic resilience are available to students.
