STEPS is located at 387 Shuman Blvd, Naperville and provides transition services and alternative high school programming for grade 12 students through Indian Prairie CUSD 204. The program's focus is on life skills, career exploration, and individualized academic plans to support graduation and postsecondary goals. Students take SAT/ACT prep and work-based learning experiences along with district resources such as the new literacy and SEL frameworks adopted for 2025–26. STEPS works with community partners to provide job readiness and independent living supports to seniors finishing their diploma.

Ans. STEPS helps students explore and plan their careers by giving them advice, internships, and programs that connect them with career exploration and planning.
Q2. Does STEPS help students think of new things?
Ans. Yes, students can find out more about art, music, and new projects that will help them be more creative.
Q3. Does STEPS teach useful skills for jobs?
Ans. Yes, students in technical and vocational programs get real-world experience that helps them get ready for the job market.
Q4. Can students take the SAT and ACT?
Ans. Yes, STEPS lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.
Q5. Are there arts and creative programs at STEPS?
Ans. Yes, students can take part in programs for visual arts, music, and performing arts.
