Peotone Intermediate Center remains one of the regional leaders in meeting intermediate literacy standards, with recent report data showing superb reading mastery metrics. The school implemented its new tiered scheduling system and was able to provide highly optimized master instruction blocks. The student council is planning end-of-year celebrations for families to look forward to.
Q1. What is the special grade configuration for classes at Peotone Intermediate Center?
Ans. The building is set up as an intermediate school and houses all fourth and fifth graders in the area.
Q2. What is the afternoon drop-off procedure for drivers at Peotone Intermediate Center?
Ans. Vehicles enter through the designated Kennedy Road loop and must have the family car-rider matching sign visible.
Q3. Does the Peotone Intermediate Center have a student safety patrol team that is active in the hallways?
Ans. Fifth-grade scholars can apply to join the safety team to assist monitors with guiding traffic during transitions.
Q4. What is the policy at Peotone Intermediate Center for a student who is sick and has homework?
Ans. Parents may request assignments by phoning the office clerk before ten o’clock AM for evening pick up.
Q5. What specific fitness activities does the physical education department at Peotone Intermediate Center track?
Ans. Teachers lead students through basic fitness tracking, obstacle courses designed to foster teamwork and a variety of seasonal sports rules.
