The Whitney Elem School was the recipient of a truly wonderful, incredibly generous and highly unexpected community donation of dozens of brand new, high quality musical instruments for our growing arts program recently. The school's growing band program now has shiny new brass trumpets, delicate silver flutes and professional-quality snare drums for students who want to play. The dedicated music teachers are over the moon and are excitedly preparing to start using these fantastic new acoustic resources in their daily instructional classes starting early next week.
