As part of our ongoing initiative of environmental awareness and sustainability, students at Waters Elem School planted a beautiful, vibrant new butterfly garden near the main playground earlier this week. The student gardening club members spent many hard weeks preparing the nutrient rich soil and choosing a diverse variety of native and pollinator friendly flowers to ensure ecological success. We can't wait to see the magnificent garden in full bloom later this spring, providing a wonderful natural habitat for local insects and a stunning outdoor learning space for all to enjoy.”
