Turner-Drew Elem Language Academy choir delivered an absolutely fantastic, melodically enchanting and highly anticipated winter holiday concert designed specifically for the immense enjoyment of the surrounding neighborhood community. The enormous school auditorium was packed to the rafters with very supportive family members, proud parents and excited local friends eager to hear the festive music. The highly gifted young students sounded amazingly beautiful in all their complicated vocal arrangements and deservedly received a thunderous well-deserved standing ovation at the very end of their spectacular live performance.
Q1. Do children at Turner-Drew Elem Language Academy pick up Spanish early?
Ans. Yes, our teachers start teaching the basics of Spanish and French from the very first day of classes in kindergarten.
Q2. What sort of field trips does Turner-Drew Elem Language Academy take?
Ans. We often bring students to local museums, city parks, and cultural centers to learn away from the classroom.
Q3. Are parents allowed to volunteer in the classrooms at Turner-Drew Elem Language Academy?
Ans. Parents are always welcome to help out in reading groups, school events and special holiday classroom parties.
Q4. Is there going to be a school bus for Turner-Drew Elem Language Academy students?
Ans. We provide bus routes for families who live a little distance away from the main school building.
Q5. How much homework is given to kids at Turner-Drew Elem Language Academy?
Ans. Teachers try to keep homework light, typically only twenty minutes of reading and a bit of math worksheet.
