Over the busy weekend, Suder Montessori Elem Magnet Schl’s competitive chess club proudly participated in, and fiercely competed in, a massive, highly challenging city-wide strategic board game tournament. Our dedicated student athletes spend many long months practicing intensely in preparation for the anticipated high stakes intellectual sporting event. It was an absolutely great time for all involved as they pitted their advanced strategic skills against some remarkably tough regional opponents and ultimately brought home several shiny, well-deserved championship trophies to proudly display in the main office.
