Over the busy weekend, the Rogers Elem School competitive chess club proudly fought hard in a massive, highly challenging city-wide strategic board game tournament. Our student-athletes are incredibly dedicated and have been training hard and long for many months in preparation for the anticipated academic sporting competition which will be high-pressure. It was a great experience for all involved to pit their advanced strategic skills against some very tough regional opposition and ultimately bring home several shiny and well-deserved championship trophies to proudly display in the main office.
