The Marshall Metropolitan High School Commandos beat Chicago Richards 64-58 in the IHSA Class 1A Sectional Final to qualify for their third consecutive Sweet Sixteen under interim coach Darrin Laye. Advanced Placement courses, dual-credit opportunities and SAT preparation are available, and the school supports students through mentoring and college-readiness programs. Marshall continues to build school spirit with strong basketball, football and extra curriculars that engage the East Garfield Park community. Academics, athletics and service are used to foster leadership and resilience in students to prepare them for postsecondary success.

Ans. Yes, students work on projects and do things that help them learn skills they can use in the real world.

Ans. Yes, Marshall Metropolitan High School lets students who want to go to college take both the SAT and the ACT.

Ans. Yes, Older kids can teach younger kids how to be leaders, work together, and help each other.

Ans. Tutoring, advice, and counseling help students figure things out and do well in school.

Ans. Yes, Marshall Metropolitan High School helps students' mental, emotional, and social health by giving them counseling and wellness programs.
