The busy main cafeteria at Lyon Elem School was the scene of the highly anticipated annual spring bake sale yesterday afternoon and was a resounding success that brought huge smiles to the entire local community. Dedicated parents and hard working staff members baked dozens of incredibly delicious, homemade treats just for the purpose of raising much needed funds for brand new, updated library books for our growing reading program. What a wonderful testament to the incredible generosity, community spirit and support of our wonderful school families. The incredibly successful and joyous fundraising event was a complete sell-out long before the final school bell rang.
