Students at Lawndale Elementary Community Academy recently displayed hands-on learning projects about urban ecology and sustainability at a lively community event in the school’s wellness garden. The campus also honored its middle school robotics team for their innovative coding solutions presented in the annual spring STEAM showcase. The school’s Gold-rated preschool program was also lauded for its ongoing commitment to excellence in readying the youngest scholars for academic and social-emotional success.
Q1. Can my kid bring their own frisbee for recess at Lawndale Elem Community Academy?
Ans. For sure, they can totally bring one, but they just have to share it with the other kids.

Ans. Yeah, the media teacher honestly runs a super fun photo club every Wednesday for the older students.

Q4. Are kids allowed to bring rolling backpacks instead of regular ones to Lawndale Elem Community Academy?
Ans. Nope, they are honestly a huge tripping hazard in the busy hallways, so regular backpacks are totally required.
Q5. Do they have a lost and found for sweaters at Lawndale Elem Community Academy?
Ans. Yeah, there is totally a massive bin right by the gym doors filled with hundreds of forgotten sweaters.
