Kanoon Elem Magnet School recently demonstrated its commitment to developing biliterate, critical thinkers prepared for a global society. The school continues to offer enrichment opportunities such as soccer and fine arts and has strong mentorship partnerships with organizations such as the Chicago Blackhawks and Latinos Progresando. Its specialized World Language magnet program continues to be a primary draw for families in the Little Village community.
Q1. Can I volunteer to read to the first graders at Kanoon Elem Magnet School?
Ans. For sure, the teachers honestly love having guest readers come in on Friday afternoons to read fun stories.
Q2. Do they have a dedicated lost and found for boots at Kanoon Elem Magnet School?
Ans. Yeah, there is totally a huge coat rack right inside the main lobby that is always overflowing with boots.
Q3. How do we sign up for the after-school baking camp at Kanoon Elem Magnet School?
Ans. Honestly, just grab a flyer from the front desk and scan the QR code to register online quickly.
Q4. Are kids allowed to wear hoods inside the building at Kanoon Elem Magnet School?
Ans. Nope, everyone honestly has to take off their hats and hoods as soon as they walk through the doors.
Q5. Do they have a fun sports day planned for the spring at Kanoon Elem Magnet School?
Ans. Yeah, the PE coaches totally set up amazing obstacle courses and relay races for everyone to enjoy outside.
